The Madrone Culinary Guild is one of the oldest and most active guilds in the Barony, founded

in AS XI.  Members enjoy playing with cuisines from Rome to the Renaissance.  The people of

the guild are chefs, culinary historians and people interested in good food.   As well as being

renowned for its fabulous and well-researched feasts, the guild is also known for its publication

"The Feudal Gourmet".

A Guild meeting is held the 1st Wednesday at a rotating location.  The Culinary Guild's monthly

cooking night is held every 3rd Thursday at the Baronial Social.  Cooks of all abilities are more

than welcome, as well as anyone who'd like to eat our food in exchange for feedback.

Pewterer’s Guild

http://pewterersguild.org/

The Pewterer's Guild was established in AS XXXIX.  Members teach, learn and practice period

techniques of carving and pewter casting.  The Pewterer’s guild organizes classes, and

encourages discussion.  The guild serves both the Barony and the Kingdom in making site

tokens or personal badges for various events, offices and branches.

As guilds go, the Pewterer’s guild is somewhat informal.  Although many core Guild events

happen within Madrone and many projects are closely related to Madrone events, the

Pewterer’s guild has no official charter from either Madrone or An Tir.  Participation with

the guild is open to anyone who has interest, regardless of geography.

To learn more about upcoming Pewterers guild activities, sign up for the e-mail discussion list.
