| It is with regret that I am closing Lionheart's to Equestrian activities. | ||
| The event is very proximate to the dates the State Veterinarian recommends for not traveling with horses. | ||
| Additionally the complexity of sterilization procedures and medical checks that would be required to guarantee a biologically safe event will so impact the event as to make it more stressful than enjoyable. | ||
| The idea of having horses at Lionheart’s has always been to make Equines, Equestrians, and Equestrian games as accessible as possible to the populace. This was one of the driving reasons for making the entire event an equestrian site this year. | ||
| I will be using the next year to up the level of the games and prizes for the equestrian games for next year to give participants something to remember. | ||
