Madrone, the oldest barony in

An Tir, celebrates it's

40th Anniversary! 

Their Excellencies Ragnarr and Bergdis bid you to join Them and the Barony of Madrone on her 40th birthday, as They host tournaments to choose the new Heavy, Rapier and Archery Champions of the great lands of Madrone.

   
  Equestrian activities are planned, including a Challenge Course, Mounted Archery, Jousting, Carousel  (riding to music), Persona Challenge, Military Drills, and a Trail Challenge  (competitive mounted scavenger hunt). 

A spectator area will be set up to encourage the populace to view the horse activities.

  

Youth activities will include a Youth Armored Combat Tournament for ages 12 and up, and a Foam Weapon Tourney for the younger children on Saturday.
 

Heavy Fighting activities include: 

     Madrone Championship,

     Prize Tourney and

     Individual Challenges

   Arts & Sciences classes will be held on both Saturday and Sunday.
           
  Rapier activities include:

     Madrone Championship,

     Eleanor Prize Tourney,

     St. Bunstable Protector,

     and Individual Challenges

   Madrone's 40th Year Dessert Social will be held at the Baronial Pavillion on Saturday evening, following a dinner break.
