The Fair Barony of Madrone

welcomes you to Lionheart's! 

Their Excellencies Ragnarr and Bergdis bid you to join Them as They host tournaments to choose the new Heavy, Rapier and Archery Champions of the great lands of Madrone.

   
  Equestrian activities are planned, including a Speed Quintain Tourney with Heralds on Saturday, a Courier Challenge Course of various skills on Sunday, an Equestrian Ground Crew class on Saturday morning, and as always, Trail Rides.  A spectator area will be set up to encourage the populace to view the horse activities.  

Youth activities will include a Youth Armored Combat Tournament for ages 12 and up, and a Foam Weapon Tourney for the younger children on Saturday.  On Sunday, there will also Heavy and Rapier "Children's Gladiator Tourneys" and a Heavy "Children's Favor Tourney".
  Merchant information is available on the new "Merchants" tab.  Deadline for mailing in Pre-Registration Packet is Friday, June 12th.  See instructions for registering after that day.   Dessert Potluck will be held on the Erics on Saturday evening, following Court.  Please bring delicious contributions to share. If possible, single-serving sizes are best, so that they are easy to divide. Then come and share and socialize at the end of a very busy Saturday.
    Field of Cloth of Gold competitions will be held on Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday.  We are pleased to welcome our neighboring Baronies to join us in the competitions!  Look for an UPDATED SCHEDULE of games on the "Field of Cloth of Gold" page.
           
  Heavy Fighting activities include:  Madrone Championship, Battle Chess, Individual Challenges, Children's Favor, and Children's Gladiator Tourneys.   Archery activities include:  Madrone Championship, and other challenge tourneys.
         
  Rapier activities include:  Madrone Championship, St. Bunstable Protector, Individual Challenges, Children's Gladiator, and Walk-the-Plank.
