he Barony of Madrone is the oldest branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism within the Kingdom of An Tir. As such, it has a long and proud history, covering more than thirty-five years. | ||||||||

| Madrone covers the area modernly known as Seattle and King County, in Washington state. Within the Barony are two subgroups: the College of St. Bunstable, at the University of Washington in Seattle; and the Canton of Porte de l'Eau on the Eastside, including the cities of Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, and Duvall. Our neighbors to the south are the Shire of Wyewood, centered on the southern suburbs of Renton, Kent, and Auburn. And an informal group of gentles at Microsoft is known as Williamsgate. | |||||||||

ewcomers are always welcome. Click the email link for the Chatelaine to get detailed directions to a particular event or more information. Generally, the only requirement for weekday activities is interest; the only requirements for events are that you wear an attempt at medieval or renaissance clothing, and help cover the cost of the event by paying a site fee. | ||||||||
